This weekend's Call of Duty: WWII beta for PlayStation 4 is just about ready to wrap up, but the fun isn't over yet, as an even bigger weekend event is set to kick off in just a few days – and the developers at Sledgehammer Games are ready to celebrate the right way.

The team has confirmed that it will host a live stream this Wednesday in collaboration with Sony for the PlayStation 4, to talk about expectations that followed the first beta, and what's to come with the second. The PlayStation Blog entry noted that the stream will be viewable on the official PlayStation YouTube and Twitch pages, as well as Facebook.

The company noted, "We'll start by reviewing the takeaways from the beta's first weekend, which kicked off this Thursday on PS4 and will wrap up on Monday. In our Wednesday livestream, Sledgehammer will discuss community feedback and key learnings that will roll into the final multiplayer experience, due out on November 3.

Then we'll look ahead to learn what's in store for the second phase of the beta, opening this coming weekend, including a preview of new content and other updates."

We'll keep you noted on any updates that will be coming with the stream, but it should give both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners some idea of what to expect when the beta kicks off later this week, and runs through all Labor Day weekend.

Call of Duty: WWII releases on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
