When we reported on the many gaming activities that will be taking place at San Diego Comic-Con later this week, we noted that, during the Crackdown 3 panel that Microsoft will be hosting, there would be a "special guest" – and we threw this wild theory out there that it would be actor Terry Crews, who was prominently featured in last month's trailer for the game.
Well, it turns out we were right. It's been confirmed that Crews will indeed be part of the panel, and he'll be sitting alongside its other team members when it takes place later this week, talking more about his role as Commanding Agent Isaiah Jaxon. He'll provide plenty of input about his character, and probably just how much butt you'll be able to kick with him when the game comes out.
The panel, which will take place this Saturday at 11 AM PDT in room 7AB, promises plenty of intel about the game, as well as some "exciting new Crackdown 3 news" which could possibly entail a forthcoming beta about the game. That hasn't been confirmed yet, but there's definitely a possibility. The team has also promised the ability to win some cool prizes (all attendees at the panel will get a limited edition Crackdown 3 shirt) and, of course, see Terry Crews at a panel, which is pretty sure to be magic in itself. Seriously, the guy is just awesome.
Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb will be hosting the panel, and there will obviously be a good amount of time set aside for Crews to discuss the motivation of his character. There's also a great chance that players will be able to see him more in action, as he dishes out justice by throwing around cars and criminals, and whatever else his character Jaxon will be capable of. We can't wait to see just how much house he'll be able to clean.
For those that aren't going to Comic-Con, we'll have more information on just what's unveiled shortly after the conclusion of the panel, so be sure to check back!
Crackdown 3 will release for Xbox One and Xbox One X on November 7th.
