WWE 2K18 will have the biggest roster in the series’ history, which is saying something as last year’s WWE 2K17 boasted a rather ridiculous 169 superstars. This year, 2K Games is again tag-teaming with IGN to reveal the roster in weekly chunks – last week they showed off their first 47 characters, and now they’ve added another 37 names to the roster (which should surpass 200 names when all is said and done).

This latest update features a good mix of Legends, current top stars like Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles, women, and tag team specialists. Scroll on down to check them all out…
Current Superstars
Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, The Miz, Roman Reigns
The current superstars include newer up-and-comers like Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode, as well as well-established names like The Miz and Roman Reigns (booooo). You can check out The Miz’s entrance, above. Sadly, they didn’t had to the time to add Curtis Axel or Bo Dallas it seems, but otherwise, Miz and Maryse are looking fairly, ahem, awesome.
Female Superstars
Maryse, Naomi, Sasha Banka, Bayley, Ivory, Natalya, Mickie James, Becky Lynch, Tamina, Ember Moon
Women will be a bigger focus in WWE 2K18, and this update adds a whopping 10 new names to the Women’s Division. They include current favorites like Sasha Banks and Bayley, as well as classics like Ivory and Mickie James. Thankfully, it looks 2K is finally putting some effort into the female superstars’ models, as most of the ladies actually look like themselves this year. You can check out Ember Moon’s entrance, above.
Legends and Tag Teams

Goldberg, Earthquake, Jim The Anvil Neidhart, Larry Zbyszko, Brutus Beefcake Greg Valentine, Edge, Godfather, Eddie Guerrero, Daniel Bryan
WWE 2K18 wouldn’t be complete without Legends, and we get a mix of 80s golden oldies, and Attitude Era favs. Also, Daniel Bryan, which makes me sad.
Kerry Von Erich, Kevin Von Erich, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Mojo Rawley, Zack Ryder
Oh, and you can’t overlook the tag-team specialists, either!
All-Time Greats

The Rock, Randy Orton, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, John Cena
Finally, we have the All-Time Greats, who are even better than the Legends, I guess. You had to assume all these guys were shoe-ins — you can’t have a WWE game without The Rock or John Cena, and Kurt Angle was already announced. That said, it’s nice to have them confirmed.
WWE 2K18 unleashes its ruthless aggression on the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on October 17.
