A special Destiny 2 panel being held during the E3 Coliseum programming segment next week will be co-hosted in part by WWE superstar the Big Show.

Having celebrities co-host certain segments during E3 events is nothing new, and some of them seem like they'd be a better fit than others. But if you're wondering what the relationship between the wrestler and the Destiny games is, he happens to be a huge fan of the series, and will likely have little trouble discussing the upcoming game.

The event that he'll be co-hosting is officially called "Inside Bungie," and the Big Show will be joining Bungie's CEO Pete Parsons as the two answer some questions and offer some information about the highly-anticipated Destiny 2. While the Big Show will likely be pitching some questions to Parsons for the CEO to answer, his knowledge of the series' gameplay will hopefully assist in creating a conversational panel that doesn't sound too rehearsed as some of the panels are prone to do when a speaker is shoehorned into the panel.

If there's still any question about whether the Big Show is a true fan or if this is all just for publicity's sake, there's evidence from quite awhile back that shows that the Big Show truly does enjoy and understand the Destiny games. Way back in 2015, the Big Show tweeted that he'd received a Destiny-themed bundle complete with a PlayStation 4 and some Red Bull to keep him going. He put down the idea that he wouldn't have time to play the game by firing back some in-game stats, and he answered a fan's question about his massive hands and the PS4 controller saying that he was "used to the controller now."

Other celebrities that will be featured during the panels include Chris Hardwick, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Jack Black. The E3 Coliseum panels will be held on June 13-14 and will be streamed online via Twitch, Facebook Live, YouTube, and Mixer. The full schedule of panels can be found here.
