The first wave of Spider-Man: Homecoming reviews are rolling in, and they are overwhelmingly positive! Apparently, having Marvel Studios guiding Sony’s Spider-Man movie franchise has been the game-changer that fans hoped it would be, and the results are already propelling the franchise to new heights.

At the time of writing this, Spider-Man: Homecoming sits at 97% on aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes – officially making it the highest-rated Spider-Man movie of all time!

The big point of debate will no doubt be how Spider-Man: Homecoming compares to Spider-Man 2, and whether the Rotten Tomatoes scoring system got that ranking right. Spider-Man 2 has been revered by fans as one the biggest game-changing pieces of superhero cinema (keyword) to come out of the 2000s era before Chris Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy came along.
