Samuel L. Jackson has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe reunion photo shoot taking place in today.
Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, shared two photos from the event. The first show's Jackson with Anthony Mackie, who plays the Falcon, and Laurence Fishburne, who will debut as Bill Foster, known as the hero Goliath in the Marvel Universe, in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Jackson wrote, "Now I see what all the confusion's about! That [Laurence Fishburne] guy in the middle is the spitting image of...One of us!"
The comment seems to be a reference to an interview from 2014 where a journalist mistook Jackson for Fishburne and asked a question about The Matrix, prompting Jackson to call him out for it on the air.
The second photo once again includes Jackson, Mackie, and Fishburne, only this time they're joined by Don Cheadle, who plays War Machine, and Chadwick Boseman, Marvel's Black Panther.
"Darkness for ya!!" Jackson wrote. "These Muthafukkaz [Don Cheadle}, [Chadwick Boseman], [Laurence Fishburne] & da Mackman! All in with these Bruthaz!"
These photos follow previous photos and videos shared by the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Hulk, Mark Ruffalo, and Hayley Atwell, who played Agent Peggy Carter.
Jackson's Nick Fury was last seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The character is said to return in Captain Marvel, a period piece set in the 1990s, a time when Fury still had both of his eyes.
Most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will come together in an unprecedented way in Avengers: Infinity War.
