One Marvel Cinematic Universe fan has given Avengers: Infinity War just what it was missing: a dose of Korg.
The Cronan character introduced in Thor: Ragnarok was absent from the first looks at Avengers: Infinity War. In fact, the character portrayed by director Taika Waititi in the third Thor movie is not actually confirmed for the ensemble flick. Still, the fans demanded an appearance from Korg.
One fan took to Reddit to make everyone's day, having added Korg to the Avengers: Infinity War poster in glorious form. Check it out below.
Korg has truly become a celebrity since debuting in Thor: Ragnarok. The character was a major player in the Planet Hulk comics which helped earn in the spot in Ragnarok as it was heavily influenced by the Marvel Comics story. Now, fans are not only adding him to posters, but memes have been making the rounds across the internet.
The praise from fans has been enough to earn Korg a future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "We have plans for Korg and Miek," said Feige in a conversation with Fandango. "When and where we'll have to wait and see, but we, like the audience now that they've seen them, can't get enough."
Whether or not Korg will appear in Avengers: Infinity War or its 2019 sequel is unknown, but fans are certainly hoping Waititi suits up for the gig, again.
Thor: Ragnarok is now playing in theaters. Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2017.
