'Avengers 4' Set Photos Possibly Reveal Huge Spoiler

While anticipation builds for Avengers: Infinity War, new photos from the sequel Avengers 4 continue to pose even more questions.

The newest set of photos from the set heavily feature Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr., but this doesn't seem to be the Tony from Captain America: Civil War, at least if his clothing is any indication. The first photos show Downey Jr. wearing swat gear, and you can spot a certain familiar symbol on his arm. That seems to be the official SHIELD logo, which was dissolved (officially anyway) after Captain America: Winter Soldier.

This seems to be a flashback sequence of some kind, and it will probably involve Stark trying to calm down or talk to the Hulk, as Mark Ruffalo is seen on the same set with full motion capture gear.

That doesn't seem to be the only flashback though, as another photo of Downey Jr. shows a throwback to the first Avengers. In the behind the scenes photo Downey Jr. is wearing a black and gold Black Sabbath shirt, a shirt he wore in the original Avengers movie. In the photo, he's sporting some bruises on his temple, so maybe this is a throwback to another fight in the past or he just decided to break out the shirt once again for a throwdown with Thanos.

In either case, you can't help but love the attention to detail by Downey Jr. and the Russos. You can view the photos above.

Not much is known about Avengers 4, other than it will also assemble a huge lineup of heroes like Infinity War. What is known though is its heavy use of The Hulk, as Thor: Ragnarok kicks off an in-movie trilogy of sorts for the character according to Ruffalo.

"So basically, Kevin [Feige] pulled me aside before this, and said, 'If you were gonna do a... if we were going to do a standalone Hulk movie, what would it be?'," Ruffalo told Cinemablend. "And I said, 'I think it should be this, this, this, and this and this, and ends up like this.' And he's like, 'I love that. Why don't we do that in the next three movies, starting with Thor 3 and then we go into Avengers 3 and 4.' And I was like, 'That sounds great!' And so we are at the beginning of this arc."

Sounds like fans are in for an entertaining ride, regardless of whether it takes place in past or present.
