Steve Rogers is the sole Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but in the comics, a few different heroes have picked up the iconic shield.
The newest addition to the Captain America mythos is none other than Sam Wilson, who has fought alongside cap for years as the Falcon in the comics, and in the films ever since the two met in Captain America: Winter Solider.

Wilson's Cap suit features the iconic red, white, and blue color scheme, but adds some modern flair. He also kept the wings and combined with his shield it allows him unlimited flexibility in the field.
Artist Aiko Aiham has designed what he thinks the suit could look like if it were to make the jump to film, and it's quite stunning. While no one wants Chris Evans to leave the role anytime soon, if he did choose to leave, going the Sam Wilson route would definitely be an option. Having Anthony Mackie fly through the air with Redwing alongside, throwing his shield at enemy battalions would make for an impressive visual.
Mackie will reprise the role of Falcon in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, which finally brings the villainous Thanos out of the shadows.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4th, 2018.
