Michael Rooker Reveals What He Will Miss Most About Guardians Of The Galaxy

If you haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, there are spoilers ahead. But, seriously... what's wrong with you? Why haven't you seen this film yet?

Rooker's portrayal of his character Yondu in GOTG Vol. 2 was the standout performance in the film. I didn't picture myself crying when I walked into the theater but there I was blurry eyed as Yondu redeems himself as a hero and a person that lives by the Ravagers code.

In an interview with CinemaBlend, Michael Rooker, aka Yondu, was asked what he was going to miss most about being in the Guardians of the Galaxy films, he said:

Working with everybody else. It was such a joy. You know what, a few years back I'm like, 'No more fun. No more Rooker.' Okay, I can do a tough, serious, dark film, but I still gotta have... it's still gotta be fun. Life is way too short.

If only for a moment he got to be Mary Poppins y'all.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be available on streaming services August 8th and on Blu-Ray August 22nd, 2017.
