Silver Surfer Surfs NYC For Halloween

For Halloween, Jesse Wellens from the YouTube channel PrankvsPrank had makeup artist extraordinaire Alexys 'Lex' Fleming (aka Madeyewlook) transform him into one of the noblest and most tormented cosmic entities in the Marvel universe, Silver Surfer (aka Norrin Radd). And once he work was finished, Jesse hopped on an electric skateboard, which was modified to look like the Surfer's iconic board, and surfed through New York City. Watch that in the video above.

"This is the reason I was in New York for a little bit longer," Fleming says in a behind-the-scenes video, which you can view below. "He asked me, 'Lex, can you make me into a comic book Silver Surfer?' And I'm like, 'You ask and you shall receive.'"

"It was about 7 in the morning when we started this body paint, which is pretty early for me, considering I'm such a night owl, so we were all ready to fall over," she explains. "It took about 4-hours to paint Jesse, but then he said I still have time, so I spent another hour detailing and adding comic book-type lines that would really make the colors pop. Since he was painted in all mat colors, we also wanted to add shine to it, so before he hit the streets, I dusted him with some very fine cosmetic-grade glitter to catch the sunlight. Once we were done with the makeup, we met up with Casey Neistat."

Silver Surfer (2016) #7 - "The Infinite All-In" Norrin and Dawn are back out in space and back in trouble! While at the universe's slickest space casino, the Silver Surfer may be gambling away more than he thinks. The stakes have never been this cosmic!
