When it comes to Marvel, everything is connected. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have learned how true this principle is over the past eight years or so. The blockbusting franchise has tied-in with small screen projects and even comic book preludes. Print spin-offs have been published for films like The Avengers and Doctor Strange, and now, it looks like another one of Marvel's famous superheroes is getting a prelude too.

Fans have been hoping that Spider-Man: Homecoming would get a prelude comic, and the wish is apparently being granted. Amazon has recently updated their site to debut a landing page of a comic book named Spider-Man: Homecoming Prelude. The paperback issue is set to release on June 20, 2017 ahead of the actual film's premiere in July.

If you want to check out the comic's short synopsis, then you can read it below:

"You adored his introduction in Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, you can't wait for his Hollywood Homecoming - now really get to know the Spider-Man of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in this prelude to his big-screen solo adventure! By day, young Peter Parker attends high school and lives with his Aunt May. By night, he fights crime with wall-crawling powers and web-swinging tech - and he's destined to one day have an amazing, spectacular, sensational reputation as his neighborhood's friendly hero! Join Marvel's Spider-Man as he makes his first tentative web-swings towards a blockbuster future!"

So far, there's no word on what fans will specifically see in this spin-off, but they are making educated guesses based on Marvel's past preludes. Readers could see Spider-Man's origin story fleshed out in the comic since Peter Parker was an already established vigilante by the time he appeared in Captain America: Civil War. The prelude might also help set-up the story for Spider-Man: Homecoming and introduce fans to the film's extensive list of characters.

Seriously, there are a lot of them. If we're lucky, we might even get to see a bit of Michael Keaton's villainous role before the Vulture descends upon moviegoers next summer.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Marvel Studios' Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The cast features Tom Holland (In the Heart of the Sea), Michael Keaton (Batman, Birdman), Zendaya (K.C. Undercover), Donald Glover (The Martian, Community), Jacob Batalon (North Woods), Laura Harrier (One Life to Live), Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Tyne Daly (Cagney and Lacey), Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo), with Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny, The Wrestler), and Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man, The Avengers). Simpson), Michael Mando (Better Call Saul), Selenis Leyva (Orange is the New Black), Isabella Amara (The Boss), Jorge Lendeborg, Jr. (Graceland), JJ Totah (Liv and Maddie), and Hannibal Buress (30 Rock).
