A couple of New Yorkers are throwing fists at each other... What else is new?
In this case, though, it's exciting. Brooklyn native Steve Rogers is going head to head with Queens kid Peter Parker in a new TV spot for Captain America: Civil War. Accompanying the fight is the news of Civil War being the number one movie in the world.
Captain America: Civil War made $178 million domestically in its opening weekend. Worldwide, the film has grossed over $700 million.
Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.
Captain America: Civil War is now playing in theaters.
