The crew at the House of Ideas spent today rolling out the 52 comics — all of which can be seen here — as a part of their Marvel Legacy rebranding this fall. To kick off the new line of comic books, Marvel unveiled a set of covers that pay homage to some of the most iconic covers the publisher has released.
While most of the covers simply paid tribute to the character’s past, some of the images showed complete cover swipes, swapping out the characters but keeping the theme intact.
Becoming the Herald of Galactus would be quite the undertaking for a character who has spent the majority of her life on Earth, unlike Marvel’s wide array of characters based in the cosmos, should this be something that comes to fruition.
Prior to that, she served as a member of the New Avengers as well as the ragtag group of superheroes known as the Great Lakes Avengers.
Although the character has been seen in various animated Marvel properties over the course of her existence, the first time she’ll appear in a live action form will be when Freeform’s New Warriors debuts sometime next year.
