Social media seems to be a goldmine for actors and directors to plant seeds for casting announcements, and the latest includes the former James Bond Pierce Brosnan.
A tweet from Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman and Deadpool's Ryan Reynolds started the rumor mill when they took a photo with Brosnan with the caption #wolverinebonddeadpool. Fans got curious as to why the three were together, and since there are some open casting slots in the upcoming Deadpool sequel and (rumored) X-Force projects, well, you can do the math.
The talented BossLogic recently put together a mockup of what Brosnan would look like as Cable, and now he's put together a take on the actor as the fan favorite X-Men nemesis Mr. Sinister. The costume has a few modern tweaks, but overall it's pretty close to the suit's comic origins. Brosnan actually looks quite imposing in the costume, and no one would be upset if this version of the character showed up down the line.

Next up for Jackman though is Logan, and you can view the official description for the film below.
"In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces."
Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Logan), Boyd Holbrook (Donald Pierce), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Dafne Keen (Laura Kinney/X-23), Doris Morgado (Maria), Stephen Merchant (Caliban), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Gabriela), and Richard E. Grant (Dr. Zander Rice). James Mangold is directing and helped on the screenplay along with Scott Frank and Michael Green.
Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.
