The cast and crew of Thor: Ragnarok seem to be having quite a bit of fun with one another having started production less than a week ago.

Earlier today, titular star Chris Hemsworth took to social media for a joke about Thor's new hammer in the film (literally, just a hammer) and later, newcomer director of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Taika Waititi made his own joke about Thor's hammer.

In a tweet, the director showed Thor's hammer on top of his toiler seat with the caption, "Thanks a lot dude," and a tag for Chris Hemsworth.

Waititi better hope he's worthy or he'll be conjuring up another type of dark magic. Let's just hope the movie is this much fun.

Thor: Ragnarok is rumored to be a mixing of two fan favorite comic storylines, those being Ragnarok and Planet Hulk. Both stories are rather epic in scale, so even boiling them down to their base elements should provide for an action packed film.

In addition to Hemsworth, the cast will see Tom Hiddleston return as Loki, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Idris Elba as Heimdall. The film will also include plenty of new additions, including Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster, Cate Blanchett's Hela, Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, and Karl Urban's Skurge.

The film is on track for a November 3rd, 2017 release.
