A Twitter exchange between Kick-Ass and Wanted creator Mark Millar and Chris Hewitt, the News Editor of Empire magazine, suggests that Brad Pitt is the top choice for something Millar is working on--that should shoot soon. "Pitt is top choice and would be excellent," wrote Millar in the first half of a two-part tweet that be promptly deleted when Hewitt alerted him to the fact that he was tweeting publicly and not in DM. "It all depends on [schedules]." In all likelihood, then, Pitt would play a small role in the celebrity-cameo-filled The Secret Service, which already features Star Wars star Mark Hamill playing himself. That movie is mostly shot, and that would jive with the last part of Millar's comment: "We'll be done by the time you start. When are you going to be in London? We're down at the end of the month." Whether Pitt would play a small role as one of the villains, cameo as himself or something else is not clear. Of course, both Pitt's and Johnny Depp's names have come up in connection with Millar's comic book adaptation Nemesis, which is to be produced by Ridley Scott. It's possible that "We'll be done" may not be the production on the film in question but rather the process of making the Pitt decision. Millar also works with 20th Century Fox on their Marvel Studios co-productions, so don't be surprised to see Pitt's name attached to rumors of Fantastic Four or X-Men: Apocalypse soon. Those seem far less likely than a Millarworld project, but will generate a lot more buzz when inserted into a rumor headline.
