It sounds like fans of the Russian X-Man Colossus are in for a treat when the Deapdool movie opens in theaters. According to the character's motion capture actor for the film, Andre Tricoteux, the movie will dive deeper into Colossus' character than even the X-Men movies did before it.
"Yeah, I think you're going to get to see more of who Colossus is," Tricoteux told Tech Times. "Like I said, we kept him really traditional to the comic book. So yes, I think people will get a better sense of who he is. But I think there's still a lot more to be told about him. Colossus has been around in the comics since the '70s, so I mean, I think you could do your own movie on him. Yeah, you're going to get to see a little bit more of who he is and kind of his outlook on the world."
We've already seen that the Deadpool version of Colossus is bigger, more brutish, and more similar to his comic book appearance than he was when portrayed by Daniel Cudmore in the X-Men films. We'll have to wait and see how the character turns out with this new interpretation.
