The Warcraft movie will wrap shooting in three weeks, according to director Duncan Jones. Filming for Warcraft began last January. The film is based on Blizzard Entertainment's popular series of video games that include the original Warcraft trilogy of real-time strategy games and the incredibly popular, genre-defining MMORPG World of Warcraft. Details on the film's plot are scarce, but it is said to focus on the first encounters between the Human Alliance and the Orc Horde – the two warring factions of the Warcraft video game series – and will try to show events from both sides of the conflict. The film stars Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell and Rob Kazinsky. Jones and Charles Leavitt wrote the script. Warcraft is due for theatrical release on March 11, 2016.
