Angela Bassett Returning For American Horror Story: Hotel To Make Trouble With Lady Gaga

Actor Angela Bassett is returning to American Horror Story for American Horror Story: Hotel.

And when she returns, she's going to make life a living hell (well, even more of one, considering the circumstances) for new series member Lady Gaga. The news comes from American Horror Story creator and writer Ryan Murphy, who Tweeted the news out earlier today.

In October, Angela Bassett will be making lots of trouble with Lady Gaga in the ballroom and elsewhere. #ahshotel

American Horror Story is a horror anthology series that changes its premise for every season, with past seasons revolving around a Coven and Freak Show. The only real continuity between seasons is the show's cast, who often stay for multiple volumes. No word was given on who Bassett would play for next season's Hotel theme, or why she could cause trouble with Lady Gaga's character. Maybe she'll play the Fame Monster?

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres this October on FX.
