Marvel Studios and the Korean Film Council are about to finalize plans to film portions of Avengers: Age of Ultron in South Korea's capital city of Seoul, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The KFO says that the filming will take place between March 20 and April 12 and will occur around the bridges over the Han River and in the Gangnam District. Yes, that Gangnam, as in "Gangnam Style" Gangnam. We await your Avengers/Psy mashup videos. Avengers: Age of Ultron will also film in the city's media and entertainment district of Sangam DMC, as well as in Yongsan, which is the location of a U.S. military base. Several Korean organizations of authority, including the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency and the Korean culture ministry, convened multiple times over the past week to discuss how to prepare the city for the shoot, which will take place in some of the city's busiest and most crowded areas, and how to keep crowds under control around the film's stars. Avengers: Age of Ultron will come to theaters May 1, 2015.
