Downey Jr. And Ruffalo Talk More About Avengers Mystery Bonus Scene

Robert Downey Jr. dropped a bombshell when he revealed the Avengers cast was shooting another scene after the world premiere. While many are speculating over whether Robert Downey Jr. was joking or not, he's certainly continuing to act like he was serious. And if it is all a joke, Mark Ruffalo appears to be in on it as well. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Downey and Ruffalo teased about the bonus scene. Robert Downey Jr. said, "I know the whole, you know, carnival barker, side-show element of what the fans like. And suffice to say, we have a little something extra." Then, to keep it going, Mark Ruffalo said, "I don't know where that scene is going to go in the movie." Downey Jr. sushed Ruffalo, telling him that he knew and would tell him later. Ruffalo also showed off a wrist bracelet prop that he claimed he took from the movie. While most people are speculating that the mystery bonus scene would be tacked on after the credits, could it be spliced into some other part of the move? Downey Jr. and Ruffalo sure seem to be indicating that possibility. The Avengers Movie opens in theaters on May 4, 2012, when viewers will find out for sure if there is a bonus scene or not.
