Extremis Soldiers

During a Twitter Q&A sponsored by Verizon FiOS, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige surprised fans with the revelation that the end of Iron Man 3 doesn't mean the end of Extremis in the Marvel movie universe. In fact, Marvel has plans to bring it back...but don't expect Feige to tell you where or how. Asked whether fans will see Extremis again after Iron Man 3, Feige simply said "Yes." That's hardly a remarkable answer, of course, except for the fact that Feige is usually fairly guarded and doesn't tend to make a lot of declarative statements about the future without having everything in place. Could this mean that Extremis is already meant to play a role in a future Marvel film? Certainly if Iron Man were to have a cameo someplace it could make sense--as could it work on either Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or in Ant-Man, where there are super-scientists all around who could be studying its uses.
