Marvel Announces Giant-Size Little Marvel: AvX During Secret Wars

When Marvel said that every reality and continuity from their library was up for grabs in Secret Wars, they weren't kidding.

Spinning out of the massive multiversal event, Marvel has announced Giant Sized Little Marvel: AVX, resurrecting the parody universe made famous during 2012's AVX crossover.

But in going little, Marvel is also going big by recruiting the concept's binding glue—artist and writer Skottie Young—to helm the project. As the illustrator on every one of Marvel's Little Marvel variant covers, Young's signature style have the concept the continued success it is. 

As the one-shot's writer and illustrator, Young said the he isn't concerned about the logistic hurdles of mashing Secret Wars, AvX, and Young Marvel. Rightfully so, he's just having fun reopening his crazy little world.

"The big questions [are] for my buddy Jonathan [Hickman], who has to ACTUALLY figure out how to put a giant puzzle together. I'm spoiled," he told MTV.com. I get free reign over all the best characters Marvel has to offer, throw them in a book where they will have a battle over who's food cart/food truck is the best. So you know, the BIG stuff."
