What we get from this terrific video, put together by the folks at Total Film magazine, is that basically everyone wants to be involved in the Star Wars sequels--or at least wouldn't say no if asked. (Except probably Jason Statham.) From Ewan McGregor trying to figure out the specifics of how he might fit into a new film to Joss Whedon playfully rationalizing why he wasn't invited to pitch the movie, about a dozen stars and filmmakers chime in with their thoughts on the next installment of the legendary Lucasfilm sci-fi franchise. Most of these comments, of course, have been seen elsewhere--Whedon's remarks, Bryan Singer's and others have been commented on ComicBook.com and other sites over the last few weeks--but seeing the montage of familiar names and faces discussing the possibilities of Abrams's franchise and the chorus of approval for Disney's choice of director is interesting.
