The Dark Knight Rises Confirmed For December 3 DVD Release

The Dark Knight Rises

will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 3, as was previously reported, alongside a Dark Knight Trilogy box set that will reportedly ship the same day, according to Comic Book Movie. The covers pictured may look somewhat different from what you eventually see on your shelves, at least if you're one of our U.S. readers. These covers are the U.K. versions. For the most part, DVD box art doesn't change much from region to region, but one never knows. It's also interesting to note that the trilogy's DVD box set is remarkably similar to a piece of fan art that has been circulating for quite some time. If there was one image I would peg as likely to change between now and December, it would be that one, as you certainly don't want a Marvel Phase One-style problem on your hands as it regards packaging.
