The zombie apocalypse has officially reached New York City.

The Walking Dead will host an advance screening of its Season Six premiere episode in Madison Square Garden on October 9, two days before it debuts on AMC. The special screening will then be followed by a panel featuring 18 cast members from The Walking Dead, making for one biting fan experience. The event will take place during New York Super Week, a weeklong celebration of superheroes and pop culture in Manhattan.

But not just anyone can roll up to this special red carpeted event. AMC is only giving tickets away through its Walking Dead Fan Premiere Sweepstakes, which will award to tickets to thousands of lucky fans. To enter the sweepstakes, head to AMC's website here.

"An evening that is typically reserved for cast, crew and industry will now include the fans," Charlie Collier, president of AMC, said in a statement. "Loyal, passionate fans are responsible for making The Walking Dead the #1 show on television and this is an exciting opportunity for us to thank them in person. For AMC, the executive producers and actors to be able to share this moment with them at Madison Square Garden – it's truly special."
