The Walking Dead: Who Is Heath?

In tonight's season six premiere of The Walking Dead, we're going to be introduced to a brand new character: Heath.

Heath will be played by Corey Hawkins. So, who is Heath? And who is Corey Hawkins?

First of all, Corey Hawkins is a very talented actor known most recently for his role in this summer's Straight Outta Compton. Hawkins also starred in Non-Stop with Liam Neeson and played a small role in Iron Man 3.

Who is this Heath character Hawkins has been burdened with playing?

Heath is a supply runner from Alexandria. He leaves the Safe-Zone frequently to scavenge the surround areas for supplies which he can bring home to feed the survivors in the place he calls home. In the comics, he becomes pretty good buddies with Glenn.

Heath dates Dr. Denise Cloyd in the comics, who is also set to debut in this season of The Walking Dead, portrayed by Merritt Wever.

Not long after his introduction, he becomes a herder, meaning he and a team of other characters herd zombies and get them to move in packs to a location of their choosing.
