At one point or another we've all be annoyed by the overly worried and sometimes anxious Star Wars protocol droid C-3PO.
As far as we can tell, fans fell for K-2SO pretty hard, considering he did bring some comic relief to some of the films most intense scenes and most of his droid merch is sold out.
Alan Tudyk, the actor behind..the metal of K-2SO received the ultimate compliment after the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story world premiere when Anthony Daniels, the man who has played C-3PO in every Star Wars movie said:
Luckily, this was meant as a compliment! When Daniels played C-3PO he had to be screwed into a rather uncomfortable device, while Tudyk just had to wear a suit and a green screen hat.
Accord to Tudyk, He has a "droid bond" with Daniels, whom he has seen while promoting Rogue One in London. "There's some pictures out there (of Daniels) looking like he hates me," keeping up his stuffy Threepio shtick, Tudyk says. "That's what he wants people to perceive."

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is in theaters now. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."
