Here's Who You Want To Get Their Own Star Wars Spin-Off Film
With the Star Wars saga entering the realm of releasing at least one movie a year, the [...]
3) Yoda
When audiences first met Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back, the first thought that popped into their minds probably wasn't, "We'd sure like to see this guy when he was a lot younger!" Sadly, fans saw Yoda's demise in Return of the Jedi, but thanks to the prequels, we not only got to see more of Yoda, but we saw him swing a lightsaber with the best of them.
Although the prequel films gave us a look at Yoda as a younger version of himself, he was still pushing 900 years old, which means there's a still a lot of unknown adventures for an upcoming film to explore.
Yoda received quite a few votes, but as many fans pointed out, one of the most exciting things about Yoda is the mystery surrounding him, so to give him any sort of origin story could potentially take away all that mystery.
2) Obi-Wan Kenobi
Similar to Yoda, the original trilogy showed only one side of the Jedi Master, appearing much more as a wise old sage as opposed to a powerful and athletic Jedi Knight.
With The Phantom Menace, we got to see one of the best duels in the history of the Star Wars saga while Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn took on Darth Maul. In Revenge of the Sith, the showdown between Obi-Wan and Anakin showed just how powerful Jedi can be, finally showing audiences a duel that had only been talked about for decades.
In the animated The Clone Wars series, we saw yet another side of Kenobi, which was that of a master military tactician, happily leading Clone troopers into battle on a variety of occasions.
No matter what period of his life is explored, from his prime Jedi Knight career or even what his life became when he went into hiding on Tatooine, fans are dying to get as much Obi-Wan as they can.
1) Boba Fett
Arguably one of the most underused characters in the entire Star Wars saga is the bounty hunter Boba Fett, who was formally introduced in the Star Wars Holiday Special.
In The Empire Strikes Back, Fett showed he was a ruthless hunter who would stop at nothing to get his prize, a mercenary who lived life by his own rules and outsmarted Han Solo to take him captive. In Return of the Jedi, Boba Fett was accidentally prodded with a pole, igniting his jet pack and sending him into the Sarlaac pit. To say this was a "disappointment" would be an understatement.
Novels, video games, and comics have all given different interpretations of Fett's life both before and after his on-screen appearances, but considering how much intrigue the character created while only ever speaking a handful of lines makes him the character you most want to see get a spin-off film.
