Ahead of Fear the Walking Dead's midseason return, ComicBook.com has obtained five exclusive new photos from the upcoming episodes!
The photos contain some major spoilers for fans who have not watched the show's third season which, by many accounts, has been a major improvement for the series which struggled to find footing in its earliest episodes. Heading into the back half of Fear's Season Three, the stakes and tension are high as the Broke Jaw Ranch community attempts to blend with Walker's Native American clan.
Based on these new photos, it doesn't look like either party is going to be thrilled with the changes coming to their group of survivors.
However the integration of Walker's Native American clan and the Broke Jaw Ranch community plays out, it appears Kim Dickens' Madison Clark and Michael Greyeyes' Qualetaca are going to continue their partnership.
The new photo above sees the two characters wandering outside of the Broke Jaw Ranch's limits, apparently driving a big rig, and possibly hopping out to clear the road of undead.
The question is, where are they going?
Victor Strand was last seen being abandoned in the group's once-sanctuary hotel in Mexico. The character had crossed Daniel Salazar by telling him his daughter Ofelia would be at the hotel waiting for him but was caught when Ofelia was not there.
This new photo sees Colman Domingo's return as Strand in an unknown location, but he did manage to get a stylish new pair of threads for the occasion. If the mob at the fence behind him is any indication, it's not an ideal situation to be in.
The Clark family has been at odds for most of Season Three -- and most of Fear the Walking Dead's entire run, for that matter.
In this photo, Alycia Debna-Carey's Alicia Clark looks a little distraught about something in front of her, be it an opinion she doesn't agree with or shocking revelation, but pairing the photo with a recently released batch indicates she is talking to her brother Nick.
Alicia is one of the smartest people on the ranch. Knowing her family well, the character will likely be quick to piece together the truth about Jeremiah's fate and won't be thrilled to talk to her brother about it!
We won't know who Madison is pointing her gun at until Fear the Walking Dead returns, but it doesn't look like she is here to play games.
Given the recent events at Broke Jaw Ranch, Madison could very well be pointing the gun at one of the Otto brothers if they were to have learned the truth about their father's death. At the same time, she may be defending someone from the Nation who is being targeted by the Broke Jaw Ranch's unwelcoming community.
Fear the Walking Dead returns for the rest of its third season on September 10th at 9 pm ET. Of course, walkers will be there, too!
