Fear the Walking Dead returned on Sunday night with an all new feel. The Nick-centric episode followed the older Clark sibling on his 100+ mile journey to Tijuana as he scavenged and fought for survival.

Along the way, Nick encountered dozens of walkers, rabid dogs, and some human threats. The most talked about scene emphasizes the human threat which was quickly eliminated by Nick's new found family of undead. As a trio of armed men gunned down the walker herd Nick was strolling down the street with, one man recognized Nick and was thrown off by his inclusion with the pack. So much so, he dropped his bullets and got distracted enough to be eaten by walkers and prompt the same fate for his amigo.

The moment was one of the more questionable scenes from an otherwise great episode of Fear. One has to wonder how someone who had survived so long in the zombie apocalypse could simply not take steps backwards to avoid being eaten by a clearly visible threat. Even more shame on the first guy's buddy who stood by and allowed a zombie to start chowing down on his arm in the middle of a wide open street, too.

In any case, Nick Clark made it out unscathed and found himself in a thriving Tijuana community by the end of the episode.

Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC. For quick updates and photos from all things The Walking Dead - panels, set, and other insider info - follow @BrandonDavisBD on Twitter and check out The Walking Dead on ComicBook.com's Facebook page!
