Maximum nostalgia has been achieved!

Sesame Street has been creating child-friendly and educational parodies of popular shows and movies for some time now, with properties like Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead getting puppet makeovers for the series. The latest phenomenon to get the Sesame treatment is Netflix's sci-fi hit, Stranger Things, and the parody couldn't have been better.

Sharing Things is a lesson about just that; sharing your things with others. It utilizes the storyline of Stranger Things 2 that was released on the streaming service last month.

Oscar the Grouch announced the beginning of the story as the title appears in the style of the Stranger Things opening credits. Viewers are quickly introduced to the Cookiegorgon, Cookie Monster's take on the demigorgon creatures that plague the inhabitants of Hawkins, Indiana. He is hanging out in the "Snackside Down," where he has eaten all of the food he can find. With that in mind, he makes his way to the real world where the children are celebrating Halloween.

In one of the funniest jokes in the entire sketch, Barb is standing beside Cookiegorgon before he leaves. She asks if she's just going to be left there, and is completely ignored.

Everything sort of kicks off once the Cookiegorgon arrives in the real world. All four of the main kids are trick-or-treating, just as they were in the original series, when the Cookiegorgon shows up. While they don't see him right away, he is greeted by Sheriff Hopper, who is appropriately portrayed by a bunny.

To see what happens to the Cookiegorgon, you can check out the full scene in the video above!
