Robert Downey Jr. Says He'll Surf Iron Man All The Way Into Shore

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Downy Jr. hinted at the possibility of him once again putting on Iron Man's armor.

"I'm sure we'll ride that thing. You've got to surf that all the way in to shore," Downey says.

Downey then tries to speak humbly about his role in the superhero movie boom.

"I think I was at the forefront of something that was coming into being, and I think it has carried me as much as I have informed it. That's the healthy way to look at it. It's so easy to become inflated by the successes, but what they really are long, strong trends. It's just another wave."

Downey will next appear as Tony Stark in Avengers: Age of Ultron, opening May 1, 2015.
