The other night, the Cincinnati Cyclones, which is a ECHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers, had a special Superhero Night in which their players wore newly-designed jerseys inspired by Marvel's Iron Man.

The specialty jersey incorporated the Cincinnati Cyclones logo as a version of Iron Man's arc reactor, and gave the rest of jersey an armor-plated look to it. Just wearing jerseys doesn't make them superheroes, but what does is auctioing off the jerseys after the game for charity. Bravo!

By the way, the Cyclones defeated the Fort Wayne Komets by a 3-1 final score. They were led by forward Jack Downing, who earned a hat trick.
