Saying that the cast and crew thinks the screenplay is funnier than the first movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn took to Facebook Live today to conduct a Q&A with fans.

Along the way, he didn't reveal very much -- for obvious reasons -- but did have plenty to say about his career in general.

"I probably wouldn't add Ben Grimm to the Guardians team even if they were a part of the MCU," Gunn said. "And of course I would love the FF to be a part of the MCU...Fox owns so many great villains and cosmic characters I would love to play around with including Annihilus -- and I think they own Kang."

He also said that he'd love to add ROM Spaceknight to the team if he could (but that's not in the cards since Marvel doesn't own the rights).

You can check out the full Q&A below, in which he also addresses the important questions, like "how many cats is too many?"

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is shooting now for a May 5, 2017 release.
