Fast 8 Cast Set

The cast of Fast & Furious 8 is back on set together for the first time, and the group looks pretty happy to be reunited.

In a new set video of the cast, actors Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto), Dwayne Johnson (Hobbs), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Toretto), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Nathalie Emmanuel (Ramsey), Ludacris (Tej Parker), Lucas Black (Sean Boswell), Kurt Russell (Mr. Nobody), and Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw) can all be seen have a great time, but even that star-studded group doesn't contain the whole cast.

Missing from the set is new addition Charlize Theron (Cipher) and Eva Mendes (Monica Fuentes), though Mendes isn't official for the film just quite yet.

The crew of Furious 8 made a splash recently when they first got to their new shooting location, which so happens to be Cuba. The film is the first to actually be allowed to shoot in the much-discussed country, and the cast seems to be enjoying the local flavor.

Fast & Furious 8 sees the return of Fast & Furious 7 villain Jason Statham, but in what capacity isn't known quite yet, since Charlize Theron's character is rumored to be the primary villain of the flick. According to Vin Diesel, Fast & Furious 8 will be the first part of a planned trilogy that will ultimately conclude the franchise, which he confirmed via a Facebook post awhile back, saying: "Universal has been so good to me and so trusting of the vision... they have been like family... I promised the studio I would deliver one last Trilogy to end the saga."

Fast & Furious 8 will hit theatres on April 14th, 2017.
