Ryan Reynolds knows how to poke fun, and he's not letting any jokes about the final Wolverine film pass him by. This week saw the reveal of the film's title along with its theatrical poster - and the actor was quick to get quippy over both reveals.

Reynolds took to social media to share this thoughts about the last Wolverine film and its title, Logan. The actor shared a photo of the the film's poster and told his Facebook fans, "For a second there, I thought it was called, "Lohan." Of course, fans are running with the joke and begging Reynolds to create a mockumentary of Lindsey Lohan's life so that he can narrate it as Deadpool.

The actor also nipped at Logan on Twitter when he told his followers that it is his hand in the poster. "That's my hand holding Logan's in the new poster," he said, calling it a tender moment. Of course, the joke is particularly appropriate as Deadpool did lose his hand during a fight in his solo film, forcing him to regrow the appendage. Fans got a good look at Reynold's CGI 'baby hand' in Deadpool, so many have commented on the actor's Twitter posts with GIFs of the disturbing image.

This isn't the first time Reynolds has used social media to poke fun at films and other celebrities. The actor recently had a hilarious exchange with Nathan Fillion on Instagram after the latter posted an image of him drinking coffee from a Spider-Man mug. Perturbed, Reynolds responded to Fillion by giving him a Deadpool mug. Fillion then posted another photo of him using the cup and wrote, "Let's try this again. I sure can't face a day without coffee. (Coffee mug provided by a generous grant from [Ryan Reynolds], along with a thinly veiled threat)."

When it comes to Wolverine and the X-Men, Reynolds does have reason to makes some jokes. The actor first played Wade Wilson/Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Critics were disappointed with how the character was used in the film, but Reynold's work was praised.

As for who is really holding Wolverine's hand in the poster for Logan, the most likely answer is a mutant called X-23. The girl, who is also known as Laura Kinney, is a cloned of Wolverine made by the Weapon X program. Alleged plot details about the film indicate the character will appear in the final Wolverine film but will not be known by either of those names.

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017 followed by Deadpool 2 on January 12, 2018. Movie versions of Gambit, New Mutants and X-Force are still being developed.
