As both Android's 17 and 18 have returned to the world of relevance in Dragon Ball Super, more and more sketches of the brother and sister duo are being released. as a result, Dragon Ball Super illustrator Toyotaro has released a recent sketch of both Androids at a recent autograph session that he attended.

This new sharp sketch by Toyotaro is what based from what the Androids look like now during Dragon Ball Super, not what they famously looked like in Future Trunk's TV special or in the rest of Dragon Ball Z. The duo's style now looks completely different which is unusual, as most Dragon Ball characters have worn the same outfit for the entirety of the series.

The Android's haven't accomplished much in the Dragon Ball universe since the Cell saga had come to an end; however, the two remaining Androids are now once again important members of the storyline. Both Android's 17 and 18 have increased their strength, especially Android 17 who fought Goku at almost full power. With Universe 7 needing ten members to compete in the Tournament of Power, the former robotic enemies were called up for support.

This is the first time fans have really seen Android 17 in action since his fight with Piccolo was cut short by Cell so many years ago. Since then the Dr. Gero creation has had a family, become a nature lover and has become a lot stronger. Meanwhile, Android 18 has too had a family and hasn't become any weaker either. Both have since been recruited by Goku to join them in the fight to save Universe 7. As a result, Dragon Ball Super fans have once again fallen in love with the Androids.

"According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh (Omni King) is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called "Chikara no Taikai" (Tournament of Power). Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
