Avengers, Fantastic Four Writers Join Da Vinci's Demons Season Two

While Da Vinci's Demons creator David S. Goyer is best known for working with Batman and Superman, it's two of Marvel's best-selling writers who will join the writing staff of his Starz series for a couple of episodes in its just-announced second season. The writers will write two episodes of the series' second season, according to Goyer, although from the language it's not clear whether they'll co-write the two episodes, write one each or write two each. The first option (co-writing the two) seems most likely. "One of the best parts of this job is that you occasionally get to call up people you admire out of the blue and ask them if they want to play in your sandbox.  Sometimes, they say 'yes'," Goyer said.  "So I managed to convince Starz and the powers that be to hire Matt and Jonathan on to write two episodes of Season 2 with our trusty staff." Goyer joked, "I also tried to get Thomas Pynchon, but he said 'no'."
