Stan Lee To Appear On Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. In A Big Role

In news that probably surprises no one, Stan Lee has confirmed that he will be making an appearance on Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lee will appear on an episode that will most likely air on February 4, 2014. There is no information on exactly what type of character Lee will play or what his role will entail, but he will reportedly have a big role. Of course, Stan Lee is the master of hype, so big role could really mean just about anything. In the Marvel movies, Stan Lee often makes a cameo appearance for just seconds on the screen. It will be interesting to see if the TV appearance is a similar cameo of if Lee actually plays a major character on the episode. Comicbook.com readers might recall that Stan Lee had a rather awkward moment with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennett at the Thor: The Dark World premiere. Bennett gave Lee a kiss on the cheek, and Lee went in to return the favor and give Bennett a kiss on the cheek as well. However, Bennett suddenly turned her head and Lee was heading straight for a lip to lip kiss, before Bennett pulled back her head. It will be interesting to see if Lee gets a kiss from Bennett's character Skye on the episode. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET on ABC.
