Arrow Tremors

The episode opens on a cell, where a man is brought in, with the processing officer says that he held up the convenience store across the street from the precinct. He sets off the metal detector (he said it's a bum leg, and when they frisk him nothing is found). He's led in to share a cell with Bronze Tiger, where it turns out he was paid to smuggle in Bronze Tiger's blades and knuckles--inside himself. He's dead by the time the guards hear the screaming, Bronze Tiger is armed and ready to escape. At a facility where Roy is training with Arrow, he's getting  impatient with Mr. Miyagi-style training for which he doesn't see the significance. He breaks some of the equipment and Arrow tells him that he knew a guy like Roy once--and that he had to take him out. Back on the island, Oliver and Sara are still looking for Slade. As far as Ollie can tell from the tracker, Slade is back in the cave. He still wants to tell Slade what happened to cause Shado's death, and Sara still doesn't want him to. The tracker dies, and they have to make their way back to the cave from memory.

Tremors

In the present day, Thea is staying at Queen Manor when Moira comes in dressed up for a dinner with Walter. She doesn't know if it's a date or not, but Thea is hopeful. She's got Roy problems on her mind, though. At Laurel's apartment, Quentin shows up to check on her. She's got a job interview tomorrow, and is confrontational. He tells her that he misses having a good relationship and asks her to dinner; she scheduled it for tomorrow. At the Arrowcave, Oliver finally comes clean (at least a little) to Diggle and Felicity about Slade Wilson, telling them that he was a friend Oliver tried and failed to help. Bronze Tiger shows up to a meet that the man who broke him out had set up before he died. The man gives him a picture, and tells him that it's an item he wants Bronze Tiger to help him retrieve. He plans to kill thousands of people with it. Back at Roy training, Arrow is trying to show him more drills, but Roy remains resistant and keeps breaking property. He asks to go out with Arrow just one night. At a restaurant, Walter Steele and his guest Mark Francis want Moira to run for mayor against Blood. Quentin brings Arrow to an AA meeting instead of dinner, and she storms out. He follows her out, lecturing her and trying to encourage her to stick around, but she leaves. Again at training, Arrow gets the call from Diggle and Felicity saying that Bronze Tiger had killed a man--an architect--and stole blueprints from his house. One of the blueprints was to Malcolm Merlyn's house. Arrow and Roy head there, where they find Bronze Tiger and some foot soldiers stealing a prototype of Merlyn's earthquake device (from a garage that has a car that looks quite a lot like Lola from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).  There's a scuffle, during which Roy helps even though Arrow had told him not to engage. The lackeys are taken out but Bronze Tiger gets away with the machine in a truck while Arrow has to stop Roy from beating one of their opponents to death. At the Arrowcave, Oliver shows up to tell them what happened. Oliver gives her a watch taken off one of the goons, and asks her to try and run it for fingerprints. Diggle asks for more details on Slade, and Oliver tells them about Shado, saying that Slade ultimately learned about her death from somebody else and that he thinks he could have saved Slade if he'd just told the truth. Back on the island, Oliver and Sara show up in the cave where the Japanese bodies are; he notices drawings on the wall, which he believes are calculations for Slade to fire a missile at the Amazo.

Tremors

Roy comes to Thea at the club, telling her that she has to leave town. He won't tell her why, and gets frustrated with her when she won't listen, then grabs her shoulder, hurting her, and runs out when he realizes what he's done. When Laurel goes in for her job interview, she's told that she can't be hired right now, while the Bar Association is looking into charges against her for conduct affecting her fitness to practice. At the mansion, Steele comes to tell Moira that they need a game-changing candidate; that he's serious about having her run for mayor. Thea comes in and voices her support for the idea. At Roy's training ground, Arrow is upset that he's late. Roy tells him that he tried to get Thea to leave town and Arrow tells him that he can't involve her. Eventually, Roy gets frustrated and attacks Arrow. He holds him off for a while but finally slips for a second and gets pushed across the room. Roy tells him that he's going to go find the earthquake machine and that he'll go after Arrow if Arrow tries to stop him. Back at the Arrowcave, Felicity is still looking into the fingerprints. Diggle tells Oliver that some people are just broken, and Ollie says that he won't let what happened to Slade happen to Roy. He gets a call from Thea, who's upstairs at the club, where Laurel is drunk out of her mind. Thea cuts her off and sends her home, and Oliver takes her car keys and tells her to summon a cab. Felicity comes and tells him that she's found the goons' employer: an arms dealer. Laurel stumbles out of the club, and a man takes an interest in her as she does. Oliver calls someone, telling them that Laurel needs them. At the island, Slade is ready to launch a battery of missiles at the Amazo; when Oliver tries to stop him, he points a gun at him. Moira comes to the club, where she asks Thea about her chances if she decided to run. Thea tells her that she should stop beating herself up about destroying the city and start trying to save it.

Identity

Near the docks, Bronze Tiger takes payment (electonically) for his heist, learning that the nation of Markovia is ready to be rocked by the earthquake device next. Arrow shows up to stop the shipment, taking out a number of baddies before Bronze Tiger (whom he thought had run at the first sign of trouble) jumps him from behind. Before the baddie can do anything, though, Ollie knocks him away and then Roy charges in and starts beating on him. The arms dealer presses a button to activate the earthquake machine--a last-ditch "eff you" to the people who are stopping him since his customer in Markovia will kill him anyway if he fails. Arrow can't penetrate the steel on the cargo container to get in and stop it before it does serious damage, and Roy is too distracted hospitalizing Bronze Tiger to notice. Finally, with both bad guys unconscious, Ollie unmasks and reveals his identity to Roy in order to clear his head and focus his energies on breaking into the container, "for Thea." Roy punches a hole in the container, and Ollie throws an explosive arrow in there with it, destroying the prototype machine. Roy tells Oliver that last year, he saved his life and gave him purpose, and Oliver promises him they're just getting started. At the Arrowcave, the team isn't happy that Ollie told Roy his identity. He said that Arrow couldn't get Roy to think about Thea and focus but that Oliver could. Cut to the island, where Oliver prevents Slade from firing a hole in the Amazo by telling him that Shado loved him and would want him to get home; that he can't destroy their only way off the island or she died for nothing. Slade wants to know what's happening to him, and Oliver tells him he doesn't know but he won't let him go through it alone. he tells Slade they're going to take the freighter. Back at the mansion, Moira tells Walter that she'll run, but that they need to make sure her OBGYN doesn't spill the beans about Thea's real father. At jail, Amanda Waller comes to visit Bronze Tiger, offering him a way to work off his sentence as part of a special unit she's putting together--The Suicide Squad. At the foundry, Oliver introduces Roy to Felicity and Diggle, telling him that he can't ever tell Thea--that too many people already know who he is, but these are the only two who matter. Laurel stumbles blind drunk into her apartment and collapses ont he couch, where she almost falls asleep before she sees Sara waiting there for her.
