Bungie has been having a field day with the Destiny 2 beta over the past few days, starting with its PlayStation 4 exclusive debut earlier this week for those who pre-ordered, before making its way to Xbox One a day later and, eventually, finding its way into open beta on both consoles over the weekend.

But there's some good news for those that still haven't had a chance to try it out yet – you've got a couple more days to soak it all in.

The company announced on Twitter today that the beta will be extended a couple of days, so you've got until Tuesday, July 25th, at 6 PM PDT to enjoy everything that it has to offer, including the single player campaign opening and multiplayer.

"TIME EXTENDED!" the company announced. "Expect service interruptions during more strenuous testing."

As good news as this is, there is a catch. You only have a few more hours to download the Destiny 2 beta so you can take part, as it'll be removed from both PlayStation Network and Xbox One by 5 PM PDT today…that's just a few hours from now.

"Download the D2 Beta today before 5 PM Pacific to participate," the company noted in its tweet. You'll still be able to play, but you won't be able to download it past today.

Feedback on the beta has been pretty strong thus far, despite a few technical setbacks with connection. Also, The Farm, the hub that will serve as a connecting point for players in the game, was only up for about one hour for players to try out. That said, it did provide a pretty decent taste of what's to come from it, and, again, feedback has been positive.

So if you haven't jumped into the Destiny 2 beta yet, now's as good a time as any. It's free to play, and there are plenty of people taking part. Sure, there are small technical hiccups, but overall, you'll really get an idea of what the game is all about. Now the only question is if PC players will get a turn before the game releases.

Destiny 2 will release on September 6th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and October 24th for PC.
