Activision spared no expense when it came to making Call of Duty: WWII look as authentic as possible. Sledgehammer Games put a lot of effort into the game to replicate its 1940's look, while also delivering a great deal of action that a lot of players are bound to enjoy in just a few months' time.

That said, there will be some interesting cameos that are featured in the game, as two members of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers appear as characters within the game.

All-Pro running back Le'Veon Bell and offensive tackle Alejandro Villaneuva appear in the game as soldiers, though to what extent is not yet known. More than likely, they're minor roles in the game, since they probably won't be a part of your squad.

Bell actually tweeted out the images of what the characters will look like earlier today, noting, "Me and Big Al are in Call of Duty: WWII! It's truly a blessing and an honor to be a part of my favorite game. #CallofDutyPartner"

He made the announcement following a private session hosted by the developer, where members of the Steelers roster were actually able to try out the game before its release. They reportedly had a good time with it, and were in shock when they found out two of their own would actually be included in the game, as you can see by this tweet.

Of course, Call of Duty known to feature some high-profile actors in their games. WWII will feature actor Josh Duhamel in a crucial role; and last year's Infinite Warfare featured Game of Thrones Kit Harington as the main villain, alongside UFC fighter Conor McGregor. Previous games have also featured famous names like Kevin Spacey, Kiefer Sutherland, and a handful of others. (And that's not counting the Zombies modes that have featured David Hasselhoff, Jeff Goldblum, Ron Perlman and countless others.)

It doesn't look like Sledgehammer Games is going for a big cast this time around, instead focusing on the intense action that WWII will deliver. Nevertheless, Pittsburgh fans are likely to be thrilled to see their Steelers in there.

Call of Duty: WWII will release on November 3rd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
