Naughty Dog Celebrates 10 Years of Uncharted

One of the most notorious franchises for PlayStation lovers is undoubtedly the stunning Uncharted series. Nathan Drake has led many gamers on a wide variety of epic adventures through the years, and to celebrate - Sony is looking back at 10 years of fond bravery and that lovable adventurous spirit.

On November 19th, Uncharted will be celebrating 10 glorious years of love, laughs, heartache, and good 'ol fashioned adventure. Not only did the team prepare a wonderful video to take us through the nostalgia and reflect on what made this franchise unique, but they had a few thankful words to say to the fans that made it what is is, as well:

"This Sunday, November 19, marks the 10th anniversary of the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune launch in North America. At the time, we knew it was the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the studio's history, but never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that it would be the first step in an adventure that would span five games across two console generations during the last decade. We're truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to build the world of Uncharted and tell unbelievable stories with Nate, Elena, Sully, Sam, Chloe, Nadine, and the rest of the cast; all while you, our biggest fans, were along for the ride."

But it's not just nostalgia that makes this celebration keen for Uncharted fans. To further commemorate the story for the ages, there will also be a more solidified way to celebrate. Sony has teamed up with the Uncharted team to create a 10th Anniversary PS4 System theme as well as a new profile avatar for fans to show their fandom pride. Both will be free for exactly 48 hours from November 19th at 08:00 PT until November 21 at the same time. Simply search "Uncharted 10th Anniversary Bungle" in the PlayStation Store, "you can't miss it."

The celebration will begin on November 19th and will continue all the way until the PlayStation Experience. At the big event, there will be a panel hosting the cast and crew, as well as full recreations of the games' events.
