With the upcoming Resistance DLC slated for a January release for Call of Duty: WWII, many fans of the FPS can't wait to have fresh new content to load up with. The team over at Activision understand that hype, and have just released a new behind the scenes look at some of the more desirable features that the game's expansion will bring: new maps, new War, Nazi zombies, and more - check out the video below to see what the team had to share:

The Resistance DLC will take players into heavy Nazi resistance zones during sordid times of World War II. The new War Mode, Operation Intercept, will put players front and center alongside along the French Forces of the Interior to rescue resistance fighters, fight back hordes of zombies, and recapture radio towers.

In addition to the new War mode, the Nazi Zombie chapter will officially drop bringing with it The Darkest Shore, where players will find themselves stranded on a desolate island crawling with the undead among the cloaking fog.

"Call of Duty: WWII creates the definitive World War II next generation experience across three different game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Co-Operative. Featuring stunning visuals, the Campaign transports players to the European theater as they engage in an all-new Call of Duty story set in iconic World War II battles. Multiplayer marks a return to original, boots-on-the ground Call of Duty gameplay. Authentic weapons and traditional run-and-gun action immerse you in a vast array of World War II-themed locations. The Co-Operative mode unleashes a new and original story in a standalone game experience full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping moment"

Call of Duty WWII is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
