Beginning in Avengers: Age of Ultron and continuing in Captain America: Civil War, Scarlet
When speaking with We Got This Covered, Elizabeth Olsen explained that Avengers: Infinity War will continue to explore the characters' romantic connection.
After being directly asked about the nature of Scarlet Witch and Vision's relationship, Olsen explained, "In any other world I would say, 'I don’t know,' but because there are paparazzi photos that kind of spoil things for fans – I think it’s safe to say that we now get to explore that part of the comic book."
She continued, "We get to introduce and really explore their relationship. It creates a really exciting arc for me and I’m so lucky I get to work with (Paul) Bettany all the time now."
Despite audiences seeing their romance blossom through a variety of emotional scenes in Civil War, the two took opposing sides in their views of the Sokovia Accords, which many fans thought would drive them apart. Based on Olsen's comments about their relationship, we can assume that they've at least found some temporary middle ground in order to set their differences aside to battle Thanos.
