While Peter Cullen has had a prolific voice acting career, it has been dominated by his 31-year stint (and counting) as Optimus Prime in the Transformers franchise. That stint continues with the new game Transformers: Devastation coming October 6, 2015 from Activision, and a new behind-the-scenes video takes a look at the game, and Optimus, from Cullen's point of view.

Cullen talks about voicing the same character for over 3 decades, plus a look back at the very beginning of his journey with the leader of the Autobots. It's a cool look, and a promise from this legend that things in Devastation will make long time fans of the franchise happy is as solid a commitment as you can get.

Activision also released pre-order information about the game in a press release. If you pre-order, you'll get new character skins including Nemesis Prime, Red Alert, and Goldfire, plus the weapons Dark Star Sabre, Photon Disruptor, and Golden Hunter pistols. Those are available from all pre-order retailers, and not exclusive to any one outlet.

Transformers: Devastation hits PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC in October, with five playable Autobots and a story from comic book writer Andy Schmidt.
