The Street Fighter victory pose is something that's been a long standing tradition to the franchise. Guile combs his hair, Ryu stands confidently, Chun-Li dances with a peace sign, etc It was even how the Street Fighter movie ended, remember? Sure you do!

Rainbow "R." Mika is one of the newer characters to the fighting game franchise and back in August, her celebration pose was shown in her character trailer of her slapping her backside.

Now, Street Fighter head honcho Yoshinori Ono has decided to edit the move out and pan the camera up so players barely see it. Of course, some fans cry out censorship, but it's not that at all.

"We didn't make any change because of external influences," Oni said to Brazilian site UOL. "Those changes came up internally. We decided to remove that because we want the biggest possible number of people to play, and we don't want to have something in the game that might make someone uncomfortable."

"We want that everyone can play and enjoy without worrying about anything else," Oni continued.

That's more than fair if you ask me.

Street Fighter V his shelves February 16th, 2016.
