Negan really does have a little sweet spot.

The actor burdened with bringing The Walking Dead's biggest villain to life on TV, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, appeared on Stephen Colbert's Late Show last night and spilled his guts, admitting he owns a candy shop in upstate New York.

"The first guy I met up in this town called Reinbeck was Ira and he owned this candy store," Morgan says, "and he passed away a couple years ago."

He and the current co-owner, Ant-Man's Paul Rudd, decided to pool their money together and buy the store which has a special meaning to them. "We just didn't want it to turn into a smoothie stand or something. It had been there since the early 90's," he went on. "We are the proud owners of Samuel's Sweet Shop."

"I'm doing Walking Dead so he knows there's gonna be some zombie killing so that's super exciting for him but, by far, I think the candy store wins out," Morgan says about his six-year-old son.

Don't get used to Morgan's sweet side. When he arrives on The Walking Dead later this season, the fun and games are over.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
